The Camera That Isn't

I wanted to build a camera... why?

Digicams have a certain charm. Also, everyone has one and I don't want to be left out. It would be easier and more economical (in money and time) to buy one; however, I think it would be really cool to make one as a technical project and just for the vibes. Practicality here is not an important matter here. It's about the "soul" of the pieces of silicon and plastic and metal.

Do I lack experience? Definitely. That won't stop me! Hopefully, I can learn along the way and not fry my parts... Fingers crossed.

A week later:

After some further research, I realized that any decent computer that could handle 8MP (like the Raspberry Pi 2 W) is just stupidly overpriced. 60 dollars when it should be 15, completely antithetical to what those computers are supposed to be: cheap. They're expensive because of the ram shortage (Thanks OpenAI). Basically, I am completely turned off of this project.
